Work on this 9000 sq ft residence, located on top of a hill, originally began as a request to repair a brick façade and chimneys that had suffered earthquake damage. The project became a complete house renovation that included new doors and windows, a new light-weight slate roof, extensive custom copper fabrications, and a major caisson supported retaining wall. Extensive woodworking challenges included multiple layers of trim on soffits, decks, railings and canopies.
The Main Company pulled together a team of architects and engineers to help facilitate design and construction solutions. This project is an example of creative problem solving and great team work.
